Volunteer Officer

Part-time (30 hours per week), Monday to Friday

Salary £21,119 pro-rata, pension scheme, 25 days annual leave

Do you feel passionate about the value of volunteering?  Could you inspire, develop and manage our enthusiastic team of volunteers?  Could you inspire others to join them?  If you answered yes, we would love to hear from you.

Here at Healthwatch Somerset, we are passionate about having a health and care service which is shaped by the people who use it.  We’re the county’s independent health and care champion and we exist to make sure people are at the heart of care.

Healthwatch Somerset volunteers are our backbone, they are our link to communities across our county.  They go out and listen to local people about their experiences of accessing health and care services in the county, they represent us at events, make films and vox-pops and help us in the office.

If you think you have the experience and passion to lead and inspire our volunteers and want to know more, download the job application pack on the link below, or telephone 01278 264405.

In return we offer 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous contributory pension scheme and comfortable office accommodation in Bridgwater.
